The Melanie Finley Ovarian Cancer Foundation is a grassroots charitable organization that was incorporated in 2008 to raise money for Ovarian Cancer education and direct financial assistance to young women who have been diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer.
This foundation was started to help raise awareness and educate young women about the symptoms of Ovarian Cancer the ‘Whispering Killer’. Over 22,000 women are diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer and over 15,000 women will die each year. Ovarian Cancer is the fifth leading cause of cancer-related deaths among U.S. women.
By helping young women become aware of ovarian cancer symptoms, it is the hope that we will be able to make a difference and help them diagnose the ‘whispering killer’ before it can affect another life. With your support we can provide awareness and direct financial assistance to young women for this very costly disease.
